Tranquility Skin & Body was founded by head esthetician Lori Mass Paulsen in 1995. Her training, degrees, and background include:

Graduate: San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science.

Graduate: International Dermal Institute. Training in: Clinical Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Nutrition, Total Body Wellness, Acupressure, PCA Skin Peels, and Microdermabrasion.

Lori was personally trained by the world renowned Jane Martin Wurwand and has been a skin care therapist for over 20 years. Jane Martin Wurwand is the Founder and Owner of The International Dermal Institute postgraduate skin care training centers, and dermalogica product line.

Lori's focus on client wellness has taken her to conferences as far-reaching as Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Clinicians working at Tranquility Skin and Body Care have passed Lori's high standards in professional training. She has found others like herself, who in addition to their education have a natural talent to deliver care and relaxation.

She is a mother of two and understands the challenges women face in taking care of themselves. With the stresses's of daily life, Lori and her staff choose products and treatments that truly address each individuals needs. They recognize the way each person needs to recover and recharge when living in an information overload society. Tranquility offers healing touch and care that extends beyond skin treatments.
